Zhong Nanshan was appointed as the chair of Macau Proprietary Chinese Medicine Evaluation Expert Consultant Committee

The first meeting and the appointment meeting of Macau Proprietary Chinese Medicine Evaluation Expert Consultant Committee (Expert Consultant Committee) was held on Nov 1^st. Macao SAR Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng awarded the appointment certificates to the chair of Expert Consultant Committee Zhong Nanshan and each other members.

Zhong Nanshan, president of Macau Institute for Translational Medicine and Innovation (MITMI) Steering Committee and Guangzhou Laboratory; Yang Zifeng, member of MITMI Steering Committee and the deputy director of the First Affiliated Hospital Of Guangzhou Medical University; Li Shaoping, deputy director of MITMI Academic Committee and deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicines (University of Macau); Wang Yitao, member of MITMI Academic Committee and founding director of the Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences of UM; and member of MITMI Academic Committee and executive deputy director of Shanghai Innovation Center of TCM Health Service, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were appointed to the Expert Consultant Committee and awarded the appointment certificates.

After the appointment certificates awarding ceremony, the technical communication meeting was held. Macau Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau is planning to conduct cooperation and commission qualified third-party professional institutions to assist evaluation and testing work. MITMI would be one of the institute invited to make full use of university experts and facilitate resources to support the work of drug supervision.
